  • 1. Is ScienceTopia a full-time school or just a tutoring program?

    ScienceTopia is a full-time online elementary school with daily live classes, just like a traditional

    school--but more flexible and fun.


  • 2. What grades do you offer?

    We currently enroll students in Grades 1 through 5.

  • 3. What is the class schedule?

    Live classes run Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM (EST), with a 20-minute snack break and a

    45-minute lunch break.

  • 4. Are classes taught one-on-one or in groups?

    Our classes are small-group based (around 10-15 students per grade). This allows for teacher

    attention, group interaction, and social learning.

  • 5. Who are the teachers?

    We hire certified, experienced, and background-checked teachers based on student enrollment. All

    teachers align with our science-first creativity approach.

  • 6. What subjects are taught?

    We teach all core subjects:

     1. Science (OpenSciEd)

     2. Math (TERC Investigations)

     3. ELA and Social Studies (Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks).


  • 7. Will my child get a report card or certificate?

    Yes! We provide progress reports every 2 months, weekly updates through newsletters, and

    digital/physical certificates at the end of each term.


  • 8. Do I need to buy books or materials?

    No textbooks needed. For science, we send a weekly materials list using easy household items--no expensive kits required.


  • 9. Is homework assigned?

    Yes, but it's minimal and meaningful. We assign short practice tasks or creative follow-ups to

    reinforce learning without stress.


  • 10. Can I try a class before enrolling?

    You can book a free consultation call, and based on space, we may offer trial sessions before you

    enroll.

  • 11. How much is the tuition?

    Tuition Fees (September - May)

    9-month academic year

    • Standard Plan- $899/Month- Total $8091
    • Full Access Plan- $999/Month-Total: $8991

    - All fees cover core subjects, science kits, field trips, and enrichment classes.

  • 12. Can I cancel anytime?

    Yes--you can cancel with 30 days' notice. No long contracts or commitments.


  • 13. Do you follow state standards?

    Yes! Our curriculum is aligned with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks, one of the most

    respected in the U.S.

  • 14. Is ScienceTopia accredited?

    ScienceTopia is a private, independently developed online school. We are in the early stages and

    will pursue accreditation as we grow.
